Swimmers of the Month - February 2026

1 Liam Blake joined the club this season, and has been making great progress in Class 1. A kid to watch for. 

1.5 Olivia Waddell also joined the Rapids this season, although she had been in swim club before…on the other side of the world! She’s been picking up skills, and her butterfly is looking sweet. She will be a great asset to the team, and ought to be attending her debut Regional Meet soon.  

2 Sophia Le is on her second season as a Rapid, and has been a steady member of our traveling crew, attending nearly all the Regional Meets. She’s a very coachable athlete, and a supportive team member, managing to balance swim club with her many other extracurricular activities.

3 Kona Palmer is a veteran of the club, and has been making huge strides this season. All of her strokes have improved, and her consistency and focus this year has been such that I feel like she’s poised on the edge of a breakthrough.

456 Bianca Marogna is having a spectacular season. Taking time off races right and left, having a massively successful Divisionals, embracing the much tougher training regimen of Class 4, B is a very committed swimmer who almost never misses practice (except this one when I wanted to take her photo).
