Swimmers of the Month - January 2024

Our January Swimmers of the Month have been putting in the effort since the beginning of the season (and some of them from long before that), and it’s beginning to really pay off. The younger ones have been super consistent with attendance, and spend their time at every practice really focusing on the task at hand. The older swimmers had massive breakthrough swims at the Terrace meet, with Ben getting his name “on the wall” for the first time, and Sophia hitting several new qualifying times - but boy have they worked hard to get there.

Some of you may have noticed that we’re kind of in the middle of a mini move-up/shuffle, where some swimmers get shifted around a bit based on a plethora of reasons including personal schedules, overall numbers, swimmer progress etc, and some of you may wonder “how come *I* didn’t move up, or win S of the M”. A big part of that reason is that we have so many great athletes it is really hard to choose a swimmer of the month! And as for moving up - that will happen, never fear.
