As always, when we hold a swim meet in our own pool, we presume that all swimmers in Class 1.5 and up will participate. If there is a time slot that your child isn’t available, please let Chris know (by text or email!).
If your swimmer in Class 1 REEEEEALLY wants to swim at this meet, please talk to their coach to see if they are ready to take on that challenge.
Running a swim meet takes lots of volunteers, and even if you are new to the swimming experience we do need your help. There will be lots of people around happy to support you and show you how to do the various tasks. And not just swim parents! There are tasks that could be taken on by siblings or grandparents, too. Listen for the call out for volunteers, and step up, even if you can only make one session, or do a “behind-the-scenes” task like making snacks for our hardworking officials on deck.
